  • Hi-Rez Studios’ mobile MOBA ‘Paladins Strike’ is available worldwide

Hi-Rez Studios is best known for their console and PC games. Most notably their 3rd-person MOBA Smite is one of their biggest successes, though many may have the opinion it has seen better days. It would appear that Hi-Rez is no longer satisfied with the console and PC market, as they are now branching out into mobile gaming with the release of Paladins Strike. If the name sounds familiar, that is because they already have a hero shooter available for consoles and PC called Paladins: Champions of the Realm. This release simply takes the characters and lore from that title to create an offshoot game that is better suited for for play on mobile.

  • Best apps for Samsung Phonecast right now

The Samsung Gear VR is great for watching video content, but if you want to watch apps that aren’t built for VR you’ll have to use Samsung Phonecast VR to take advantage of that virtual screen real-estate.

One of the drawbacks of the Gear VR is that not all apps are built to be immersive. But that doesn’t mean you can’t watch your favorite videos on a gigantic virtual screen. Samsung Phonecast VR places you in a picnic with a view of a 200 inch screen that can play videos from popular services such as YouTube, Sling TV, and more.

The viewing experience is very similar to using the Netflix app on the Gear VR and is a great way to feel like you’re in a cinema while you’re in a much smaller space. Here are some of the best apps to use with Samsung Phonecast right now.

The Google Pixel 2 isn’t just a great phone; it’s a duo of phones in different sizes that both pack some serious power. Available as the 5-inch Pixel 2 and the 6-inch Pixel 2 XL, Google’s strategy is clear: simplicity and speed. And it delivers.

The designs may not be particularly inspiring, but the Pixel 2 has some very solid specifications, including a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB of RAM, and either 64GB or 128GB of storage. In addition, the 12.2MP f/1.8 camera arguably leads the industry as the best camera on any smartphone.

Bottom line: The Pixel 2 offers the best Android experience around, and promises timely updates for at least two years.

One more thing: The Pixel 2 XL has had various display issues, but most of them have been fixed with software updates.

Why the Pixel 2 is the best

  • How to deal with a shaking image in PlayStation VR

You really need everything to be stable in VR.

Few things will ruin a VR experience quite as thoroughly as a shaking virtual environment. You’re standing perfectly still, and the rest of the world is wobbling back and forth. It’s a quick trip to being nauseated and not wanting to touch VR again anytime soon. Sony has worked hard to ensure head tracking in PlayStation VR is solid enough to avoid any kind of nausea for most people, but every VR headset can occasionally lose tracking.

Here’s how to avoid a shaking image in PlayStation VR.

    Be mindful of the boundaries

PlayStation VR relies on a pair of cameras to determine your position in the room. Those cameras use the lights on the front of your headset to measure how far away from the camera you are, and that setup has a reliability distance of 6 feet. Sony floats a warning when you exceed that 6ft line so you don’t experience any significant problems, but if you’re right on that 6ft line you’ll notice occasional instability.
