The OnePlus 6T might be Verizon-compatible

Thursday, October 18th, 2018

The OnePlus 6T is shaping up to be a big deal for the plucky little Chinese smartphone maker. PCMag's Sascha Segan notes that we should take this with a "grain of salt," but multiple industry sources claim the OnePlus 6T will work on Verizon's network.

Tiny new Palm at Verizon positioned as ‘accessory’ smartphone and we guess that’s a thing now?

Monday, October 15th, 2018

Last year, TCL announced that new devices with Palm branding would launch in 2018, and the first phone leaked a few months ago. The tiny 3.3-inch Palm phone is now official, and it's coming to Verizon next month for a whopping $349.99.

Rather than being an independent phone, it functions as a 'Connected device,' similar to a smartwatch. You have to pay an extra $10/month, and it will receive the same phone calls and SMS messages as your main phone.

The update is coming to both the Galaxy J3 Eclipse and Galaxy J3 Mission. It includes all the good stuff Oreo introduced on previous phones to get the update, including picture-in-picture for certain apps like Google Maps and notification dots on icons for apps that have unseen activity.
