Moto G7 renders reveal new ‘Power’ variant and multiple notch styles

Saturday, January 19th, 2019

The Moto G series has gone through plenty of design revisions over the years, but all variations — regular, Play, and Plus — usually share the same look. That might change this year, if renders from leaked CAD files are to be believed.

Ishan Agarwal provided MySmartPrice with several renders of the upcoming Moto G7 series, including the G7 Plus, G7, G7 Play, and G7 Power. That's right, Motorola is adding yet another tier to the G series, because that's not confusing.

Huawei P30 renders show waterdrop notch, triple cameras, and headphone jack

Saturday, January 5th, 2019

Huawei released some impressive phones in 2018. In March, it announced the P20 and P20 Pro. Then, in October, the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro were launched, the latter being a crowd favorite. We now have the renders of the upcoming Huawei P30 courtesy 91mobiles and OnLeaks.

The variant in the images is a gorgeous looking sea-blue, with Huawei's trademark gradient finish. Coupled with a contrasting red power button, it's quite the looker.

Moto Z4 Play leaked renders reveal Moto’s continued and inexplicable commitment to Mods

Wednesday, January 2nd, 2019

Motorola had a strange 2018. After promising oodles of Mods, the company only launched a single Mod in 2018—the Moto stereo speaker. And then there's the Moto Z3, which only works on Verizon, runs on 2017 hardware, and is still waiting on its promised 5G Mod. It looks like Motorola isn't giving up on the Mods in 2019. Leaked renders of the Moto Z4 Play show the same Mod connector we've come to know and tolerate, and a water drop notch.

Leaked Sony Xperia XZ4 renders show 21:9 display and three rear cameras

Tuesday, November 27th, 2018

It's been scarcely three months since Sony launched a flagship phone, so clearly, it's getting ready to release another. A new leak purports to show renders of the upcoming Xperia XZ4, which looks like an evolution of the XZ3. The phone has more cameras, more display, but still no headphone jack.

The first thing you'll probably notice is the triple camera array on the back. We don't know what the sensors will do, but the XZ3 only had one sensor.

Moto G7 CAD-based renders show off waterdrop notch and rear fingerprint sensor

Friday, October 5th, 2018

Thanks to renders based on factory CAD designs, we're getting our first look at the next incarnation of Lenovo/Moto's popular mid-range smartphone. The Moto G7 isn't due to be launched until 2019, but we now know to expect a new display with a waterdrop notch and curved corners with the fingerprint reader embedded in the 'M' logo on the back (why it took Moto so long to start doing this, I have no idea).

Pixel 3 factory CAD renders give 360-degree look at what might be Google’s next phones

Wednesday, June 27th, 2018

Every passing day (and new Android P build) brings us a bit closer to Google's next Pixel. Earlier this month we got to see a few photos of what looks like a real Pixel 3 XL in the wild, and just a bit later our friends at 9to5Google spotted some fun concept renders that tried to approximate that look with a few different colors. Now MySmartPrice is showing off what are alleged to be accurate renders based on factory CADs by boastful leaker @OnLeaks.
