Wednesday, July 25th, 2018

It was revealed yesterday in an official Gameloft livestream that Asphalt 9: Legends would officially be released on July 26th. Well, it may currently be the 25th in the majority of the world, but Asphalt 9: Legends is here all the same. You can grab it for free off of the Play Store right now, just be prepared for a lengthy 1.53 GB secondary download.

It feels like Asphalt 9: Legends has been in testing for a long time.

Gameloft’s Asphalt 9: Legends will launch soon on Android

Monday, June 4th, 2018

Asphalt is one of most popular racing franchises on mobile devices, and Gameloft is preparing to release a new installment. Asphalt 9: Legends will drop on Android soon with tons of licensed cars, flashy graphics, and (inevitably) more in-app purchases than you can shake a gear shifter at.

Gameloft says it's pumped up the graphics this time around with both HDR and more realistic physics. Well, maybe "realistic" isn't the right word.

[Hands-on] Dungeon Hunter Champions, a mashup of ARPG and MOBA mechanics that result in nothing special

Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018

Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter is a very well known action RPG series for Android, and it looks like the studio is trying to evolve it into something new so that they can latch onto the latest trend of MOBA gameplay. That's why they created Dungeon Hunter Champions. Not only does it contain all of the ARPG gameplay you enjoyed in their earlier Dungeon Hunter titles, but there are also a few different PvP modes thrown into the mix including a 5v5 MOBA battlefield.

Yesterday Gameloft announced that their latest free-to-play open-world MMORPG Dead Rivals would be officially releasing globally on April the 11th, and after checking the Play Store this morning, it would appear that they have held true to their word. You can grab the download right now, though you may want to wait a while before you sit down to play it as the servers are currently getting hammered.

If you happened to miss the pre-registration and soft-launch of Dead Rivals, you may be asking yourself what type of game this is.

Sonic Runners Adventure is out, but it’s by Gameloft and not SEGA

Thursday, December 21st, 2017

Sonic Runners Adventure is quite an odd release. The first thing people will probably notice is that this title looks pretty familiar, and that is because Sonic Runners Adventure used to exist as a free-to-play auto-runner called Sonic Runners, but SEGA eventually pulled it from the Play Store back in July of 2016. What is interesting is that Gameloft has taken that now-defunct FTP Sonic title and has turned it into a premium release that lacks any advertisements or in-app purchases, and you can pick it up today for $2.99.

Gameloft launches Blitz Brigade sequel ‘Rival Tactics’ on Android

Wednesday, May 3rd, 2017

The current state of mobile gaming isn't to everyone's liking, and if you're one of those people you should move along now. The new Blitz Brigade: Rival Tactics from Gameloft has all the makings of a modern mobile game from the in-app purchases to the screaming guy app icon. This is, of course, a followup to the original Blitz Brigade, but it's a very different kind of game.

Blitz Brigade: Rival Tactics shares very little with the last Blitz Brigade title.
