Samsung's Android 9 Pie rollout has been rather swift. After beta testing it along with its new One UI on the Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note9, it began rolling it out to users of the first two models late in December. Back then, the company also released a Pie update roadmap with the months it expected to push the OTA for its remaining devices. Now, an updated roadmap has been spotted by SamMobile, pointing to quicker release dates for the Note9 and Note8.

LG Stylo 4+ and Samsung Galaxy A6 go live at AT&T

Not everyone wants a $1,000 phone. Some people just want a cheaper phone they can get from a carrier store. Well, AT&T has some more of those today. The LG Stylo 4+ and Samsung Galaxy A6 are both available today. They're not bargain basement phones, but they're less than half the price of a Note 9.

The LG Stylo 4+ has a Snapdragon 450, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

Samsung announces Galaxy A6, J3, J7, and Tab A 10.5 coming to US on September 14, all available unlocked

Samsung announced today that it's bringing the mid-range Galaxy A6 and Tab A 10.5, plus the budget J3 and J7 phones, to the U.S., unlocked and via carrier partners. The company is aiming to provide great displays, awesome cameras, and solid performance for people who don't want to spend more on a smart device than they have to. All four will be available on September 14.

Yes, the first Chrome OS device has been found among the list of profiles included in the AR Core APK, and that is the recently released Acer Chromebook Tab 10. Also joining the list are the codenames associated with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, blueline and crosshatch, which are due out this Fall.

There are some new budget smartphones from Samsung launching in India soon. Samsung just announced not one, not two, not even three, but four new smartphones. The devices are in the J and A series, so you probably know roughly what to expect. The most expensive of them is Rs 25,990, which works out to around $380.

On the Samsung totem pole, the Galaxy A series sits right below the flagship S series, striking a balance between eye-catching design, great features, and mid to high-end specs. The latest device(s) to come from it are the new Galaxy A6 and A6+, which bring a sleek build with metal instead of glass and visible yet well-designed antenna lines.

On the front, the new Galaxy A6 and A6+ have Samsung's 18.5:9 display (which it likes to call "Infinity Display"), but the resolution is a little disappointing at 720p for the A6 and 1080p for the A6+.

Samsung reveals Galaxy A6 and A6+ images and specs on its Indonesian site

Samsung's Galaxy A6 and A6+ haven't been launched yet, but Samsung Indonesia has just pushed out a ton of details for the two phones ahead of a proper announcement. The new Galaxy A6 and A6+ feature 18.5:9 AMOLED "Infinity" displays, fingerprint sensors, unnamed 8-core SoCs, and front-facing camera flash. The bigger A6+ even has a dual-camera setup for parallax-based bokeh, and both cameras sport 16MP f/1.7 primary shooters. Prices and dates for availability are still unknown, though.
