Switching wireless providers only to find that you don't get your new carrier's signal in your living room is the pits. T-Mobile is helping residents of Boston, Massachusetts; Austin, Texas; and Atlanta, Georgia avoid that particular pickle by offering 30-day trials of its wireless service. Prospective customers in those three locales can request a portable Wi-Fi hotspot loaded up with a T-Mobile SIM that's theirs to use for up to a month or 30 gigabytes of data use.

Tidal offering 12-day free trial starting on December 25th

Jay-Z's high-fidelity music streaming service Tidal is offering a 12-day free trial starting on December 25th. In comparison to normal trials—in which the start and end dates are determined per subscriber—the Tidal trial starts and ends for everyone on December 25th and January 5th, respectively. No credit card is required for the trial, so you can partake without worrying about an unexpected bill. The trial includes access to the premium tier, as well as the lossless Hi-Fi tier.

Rez Infinite is out for Android, but it’s Daydream only

Rez Infinite is a fantastic on-rails shooter that has recently released on Android for Daydream compatible devices. While it would have been great to see a regular release that could be played without the need for a Daydream VR headset, it's still nice to see this game is getting some attention by releasing our platform.

For those of you who do happen to own a Daydream compatible device along with Google's VR headset, you can expect a free trial to play through before you are asked to spend any money on the title.
