Tuesday, April 10th, 2018

The signs have been popping here and there and everywhere and now it's finally official: Google is bringing its smart speaker duo, the Home and Home Mini, to India. But before you get ahead of yourself and jump in excitement, you may want to do a double check on the prices: Rs 9,999 for the larger Home (approx. $154) and 4,499 (approx. $69). Flipkart will be the exclusive Pixel 2 retailer for India, meaning that you cannot purchase the phones through the Google Store.

Samsung launches the Galaxy On Max in India, with emphasis on low-light photography and ‘Social Camera Mode’

Friday, July 7th, 2017

Samsung phones are pretty popular in India. In fact, its J series makes up a full 30% of all smartphone sales in the country. Now, Samsung is introducing a brand new device in the Galaxy On series, aimed squarely at those who like to share selfies or take photos at night. The Galaxy On Max will be an exclusive for Indian online retailer Flipkart.

The key selling point Samsung wants you to know about is the f/1.7 aperture of the rear camera, which should allow more light into the lens and in turn make for better photos in low-light situations.
