Anker power accessories, including Type-C cables, batteries, and Qi fast chargers, are up to half off at Amazon

Friday, November 2nd, 2018

Every year as we gear up for Black Friday sales, a few companies like to get a head start and clear out your wallet early. Anker just dropped prices for eleven different products over on Amazon as "deal of the day" promotions, including a handful of AC adapters, cables, a couple of batteries, and two "fast" Qi chargers.

We haven't had the chance to review any of these products ourselves, but reviews are universally favorable, and Anker's known to be one of the better inexpensive power accessory brands.

Anker announces Nebula Capsule II pico projector with Android TV

Friday, October 26th, 2018

Anker has released a few Android-powered projectors over the past year — the Nebula Mars, Nebula Mars II, and Nebula Capsule. Even though the Capsule is only about six months old, Anker already has plans for a replacement. The Nebula Capsule II is brighter, has a higher-resolution projector, and runs the full Android TV operating system.

I've reviewed all of Anker's projectors so far, and my most pressing complaint across all of them has been the software experience.

[Deal Alert] Anker Nebula Capsule portable projector drops to $265 on Amazon ($85 off)

Tuesday, October 16th, 2018

When Android Police reviewed the Anker Nebula Capsule in April 2018, we said it was "almost certainly the best portable projector you can buy, but it commands a high price." That price just got a lot more reasonable, though, with a sale that brings the soda can-sized smart projector to $265 on Amazon — $85 off its original $350 price.

The Nebula Capsule runs Android 7.1.2, so there are plenty of apps available, and it lasts around four hours on a single charge, or 30 hours in Bluetooth speaker mode.

[Deal Alert] Anker Nebula Mars II Android projector is $400 ($200 off), Mars Lite is $230 ($170 off)

Sunday, September 23rd, 2018

We recently reviewed Anker's Nebula Mars II, the company's new flagship portable projector. It's bright, loud, and runs full Android 7.1 Nougat. However, the MSRP of $499 was a bit pricey. Anker is now discounting the Mars II and the Mars Lite (a cheaper version with no Android OS) at $399.99 and $229.99, respectively.

The Mars II is Anker's top-of-the-line portable projector, with a 300 ANSI Lumen lamp, around four hours of battery life, great speakers, and Android 7.1.

[Deal Alert] Today only, Anker’s PowerCore Speed 20000 and PowerCore+ 26800 are both $40 off at Amazon

Friday, September 21st, 2018

With all your power-hungry gadgets, you really ought to have ample accessories to top 'em up. Among them are the PowerCore Speed 20000 for $40 off at $60, and the beefy PowerCore+ 26800 for $41 off at $89.

As it's wont to do, Amazon shows the discounts on the battery packs as being greater than they actually are (as $60 for the 20000 and $111 for the 26800), counting the discount from the MSRP rather than the historical price.
