Description

Platinum Apps are excited to announce the release of our second game built specifically for Android tablets, Platinum Pong (see www.PlatinumPong.com).

Originally released by Atari in 1972, Pong was the first computer game to achieve widespread popularity. Based on a game of ping pong, the deceptively simple game proved to be surprisingly addictive when released in 1974 as a home console (Home Pong) that connected directly to the TV.

Platinum Pong is a tribute to the humble beginnings of what is now a multi-billion dollar industry and a hugely popular activity around the world. We have kept the classic look and feel of the original game intact, as well as introducing some new themes to keep the experience fresh. Play on your own, with a friend on the same tablet or with two tablets via wi-fi.

So take a trip back in time to where it all began- you won't be disappointed!

Platinum Pong can be purchased in the Android Market for $0.99AUD by visiting the link or searching for “Platinum Pong” on your Android tablet running Android Honeycomb (3.0+).
